Tiina Eräpuu:
Outdoors – Graphic Art

Teoskuva.

Upcoming! The Arabianranta Library proudly presents the exhibition "Outdoors – Graphic Art" by Tiina Eräpuu. The exhibition will be open from April 15 to May 31, 2025. You are warmly invited to attend!

Plants, trees and stones have always had a role in my visual vocabulary. Memories act as sketches and tools in portraying the plants of my life – thinking about the dear ones and surroundings I associate them with. My mothers ferns, rhubarbs and cress in our courtyard, the fir trees and moss rocks in Tuulos. Homely plants follow in my mind from the childhood area of wooden houses in Tampere to rural landscapes in the countryside and back to urban environment. The trip has been long and environments have been shaped, even destroyed. The perception of the world and also of myself change in the movement of time.
