Malmitalo gallery’s spaces and fees

Malmitalo Gallery is located on the building’s ground floor next to the main entrance. The size of the gallery space is approximately 56m². Malmitalo gallery does not charge an exhibition fee. Exhibition services include electronic surveillance and cleaning of the space, as well as communications, marketing and arrangements for the opening. The artist is responsible for setting up and taking down the exhibition, and for the insurances.

Open call for exhibition periods

We are happy to announce that exhibition activities at the Malmitalo Gallery continue. Exhibition proposals to Malmitalo gallery are accepted until 31 March 2025 through the electronic form: https://survey.gruppo.fi/hts/index.php/752772

Proposals for Malmitalo gallery will be accepted until Monday, March 31 11.59pm. Details about the open call are available on the Helsinki Artists' Association's website and our Instagram and Facebook pages.

This call invites individual artists, artist groups, and art organisations to submit innovative and relevant proposals focused on contemporary art. Please note that exhibition proposals are binding.  

The proposals will be evaluated by the Exhibition Committee at Helsinki Artists' Association.
