Jouni Onnela's exhibition, "FREELY ABSTRACTING," will be on display at Arabianranta Library from February 3rd to March 31st, 2026. We warmly invite you to explore the works!
 

"My paintings are born spontaneously, free from the demands of form and color, as 
a product of intuition and personal experience. That freedom can be experienced 
and sensed abundantly in the elements of nature."


Jouni Matias Onnela, sculptor and painter working in Helsinki, has presented his 
works in numerous solo and group exhibitions. His sculptures, paintings and prints 
are in private collections in Finland, Europe and the USA.

Arabianranta Library

The Arabianranta Library, which serves as the exhibition venue, is located at Hämeentie 135 A, 00560 Helsinki. 

The Helsinki Artists’ Association has provided its member artists with a new free exhibition space at the Arabianranta Library since May 2022. Exhibition periods are offered flexibly, lasting two months each, allowing for 6 to 7 exhibitions per year. These exhibition slots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
