In Dialogue

The joint exhibition In Dialogue brings together the work of visual/sound artist and performer Moe Mustafa and visual artist Tii Napalm. The opening of the exhibition will take place at Malmitalo gallery on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The exhibition will be on display from October 9 to November 1, 2025. You are warmly welcome!

Mustafa presents The Body Rests In Color, a series of paintings exploring color composition as both refuge and expression of identity. Napalm introduces the photographic series I am everywhere, I am nowhere, an examination of how textiles become carriers of memory and presence, entwining with the traces and spaces of our surroundings to interlace body, material, and identity.

Together, their practices converse across mediums, painting and photography.

In Dialogue studies the intersections between shifting identities and landscapes, and how these encounters shape the way we see and inhabit the world.

Located in Malmi, Cultural Centre Malmitalo provides diverse cultural services and events for visitors of all ages. Annually, Helsinki Artists’ Association produces 10 high-quality exhibitions in the Malmitalo Gallery in co-operation with the City of Helsinki Culture and Leisure Division. HAA also collaborates with other cultural centres located in the Helsinki region.
